Spring 2011 Session

Week 1 (17-23 Jan 2011)

Bivouac This Weekend

1.  The first week of the spring semester will consist of reading and course introduction to new cadets. Uniforms will be sized and fitted. GA-956 first and maybe only bivouac will take place 21-23 Jan at North Georgia State College and University in Dahlonega, Georgia. Action will all take place in the Pine Valley Camp unless other venues are made available. Cadets (KGC?) are in for the time of their life. See the course disk for list of items to bring. Remember... Cold, wet, freezing rain, snow, lots of running and pt, maneuvers, and team work.

2. Lt. Colonel Arthur Rozier is our SASI. He replaced the retired and still kicking Colonel Hoff. (Col Hoff Retirement)

 

3. Daily Note Taker   This form is required for taking notes in class if you are so designated. It is also located on the Forms  page.

4. Speaking preparation and delivery as part of elocution and rhetoric will be covered soon. Recommend you review the following:  Overview of College Speech 1A.

6.  Read the Air Force Little Blue Book in Module One of your course disk. This will prepare you for the Core Values/Ethics test and final

Access to Air Force Little Blue Book on Core Values. General Fogelman was the Chief of Staff of the Air Force who tasked the Air Staff to prepare the book. One of the key authors on the the Air Staff was last years Dining In Speaker, Brig. General Holmes.
