Air Force Junior ROTC
KGC Bivouac in Ringgold, Georgia, April 2006

The KGC is not a competitive team. It is a Venturing Boy Scout program affiliated with the North Georgia Council. The purpose of the program is to provide leadership, adventure, and woodsman training to qualified scouts. It is open to all Cadets who can pass the physical entrance test. After completion of the test, cadets/scouts practice tent raising, perform honors to the flag, and sustain high levels of citizenship. Their reward is attending the "bivouac." The Bivouac is a 72 hour intensive adventure program in a remote/survival location.
